Ready to workout with style?

Well, Beyoncé launched her new activewear line, called “Ivy Park”, in partnership with Topshop.

Two years ago, in fact, Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green (owner of the british giant) formed a 50-50 joint venture company called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., in order to produce her athletic streetwear brand.

Beyoncé has always highlighted the importance of healthy lifestyle (in terms of diet and sport) and she joined different campaigns and projects such as the one, in 2010, promoted by the first lady Michelle Obama, called Let’s Move!, or the 22 days vegan diet in December 2014.

In the video released to promote the collection she explains the reason why she called her line “Ivy Park”, ponting out that the park has always been THE place where to go before each important moment of her life. It has a spiritual and powerful meaning, as a sort of metaphore of her life:

“Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mine. The park became my strength. Where’s your park?”.

Starting from April 14, the line (about 200 pieces) will be sold all over the world (more than 50 countries) in 12 different retail chains, such as,  Nordstrom, ZalandoNet-a-porter.comSelfridges and Hudson’s Bay Co.. Prices will range from $30 to $200.
