1 kg of Red Peppers

800 Gr Sugar

500 ml of White Vinegar

150 ml of water

2 tbsp chili powder


Clean the peppers removing only the inner white part and the seeds. Wash and dry, cut the peppers in the same way and put them in a nice large pot with high sides, pour 500 ml of vinegar and cover. After 10 minutes, add sugar to the peppers and 150 ml of water. Cook for 60-70 minutes. After this time armed with a blender chop it all and keep simmering for 15 minutes. Now put them in sterilized jars and create the vacuum by the usual operation. Taste them with seasoned cheeses.
